Time for a new resume? Tired of worrying about formatting and fonts? Whether you’re an active job seeker or just looking to modernize your resume, this lunch & learn workshop is for you. SMCLA board member Mandy “Media Mandy” Hoskinson will teach you how to easily design a sleek new resume for yourself.
Canva is a FREE web-based design platform that was created to make graphic creation easier and faster for non-designers. Canva’s unique drag-and-drop style makes creating a resume (or social media graphic, or poster, or beyond) far easier than programs like those in the Adobe Creative Cloud.
You will explore:
Canva’s wide variety of templates
Intro to Canva’s menu
Intro to Canva’s graphics library
Intro to basic Canva skills
You will need:
A working resume
