 DESCRIPTIONWe host a ton of events in the LA area at different venues (restaurants, lounges, bars, etc.) with a different theme, and I'm seeking a coordinator as my right-arm on the day of events and leading up to the event.This is a unique opportunity that will expose you to people in every field and industry while having a great time and attending events! If you haven't heard of Eventbrite, check out the website (www.eventbrite.com) - it's an amazing company!The position responsibilities include:-Registering guests at the door and assisting with check-in-You are often the first experience that guests will have with Eventbrite so it needs to be a pleasant one and must answer any questions about the product/check-in process-Managing the guest list-Helping with set-up at the venue-Occasionally help assembling gift bags-Attend events, take photos, engage with guests, spread the word about Eventbrite-Updating the Facebook and Twitter page via HootSuite-Write the weekly BriteLA newsletter (look for cool/fun events on and write a short blurb)-Write the monthly LA vertical newsletter-Write the monthly blog post-Seek partnership opportunitiesWhat do you get in return? While this is an unpaid internship, it is an absolutely incredible experience that will allow you to meet people from all different industries. We could be hosting a fashion event one month, a tech event the next or an entertainment the following. You can build skills in marketing, writing, PR, social media management, and so much more plus take ownership in many fun projects. It's a great chance to build your resume and make a significant impact in growing the company's presence in LA. You will get the chance to network with a lot of cool people and it could lead to great opportunities for you and your career.I'm looking for someone who has an outgoing personality, will be dedicated and wants to learn. I'm willing to teach someone the ropes if you are willing to learn.
