It’s a great family hangout spot and the perfect place for a picnic or a run/walk.Charity: I recently became a pro bono consultant through the Taproot Foundation – an organization that makes top business talent available to nonprofits working to improve society. Join me!Movie about LA: Steve Martin’s “Shopgirl.” I can’t recommend it as a movie, but it was shot all around Silverlake, which was where I was living at the time the movie came out. I loved seeing Claire Danes doing laundry at my laundromat! “LA Story” is another great one to check out, and it’s a Steve Martin movie I can recommend.Blogs: I’m into this new crop of men’s blogs like Next Gent, How To Be A Dad and The Good Men Project. I think male identity is due a reconstruction, and I like that men are using the web to overhaul and expand the definition of who they are.
