Andrew Curry is the Director of Sponsorships and Partnerships for the Social Media Club of Los Angeles. He is an experienced digital media executive and producer with 10+ years of working as a strategic and agile marketer with a commitment to innovation and impactful creative. Having developed and executed robust brand, social, and digital marketing programs with leaders in the entertainment, film & television industry, Curry has helped transform brands and clients’ media into impactful channels for discovery and promotion.
Specializing in Film & Television promotion, principally awards marketing, Curry has worked on the agency side serving clients, which include Netflix, A24, Disney, Dolby, Focus Features, Fox Searchlight, HBO, Hulu, Lionsgate, OpenRoad, Sony, Universal, Warner Bros, and more.
Curry has utilized his expertise in development and partnership management to expand audiences and grow the customer base for media and entertainment brands alike, including TheWrap.com. His core strengths go beyond strategy for digital but also include talent relations, from talent management to talent production, including work on some of the most notable live Awards Show Red Carpets like the American Music Awards, Billboard Music Awards, Golden Globes, and many more.
While working as the Director of Audience Development for TheWrap, Curry produced and developed several original interview series that highlighted the talent and work of some of Hollywood’s biggest names; you can stream each episode of the EmmyQuickie Series & Drinking With The Stars on TheWrap’s YouTube channel.
